Columbus Guarini Scholarship

The CCF Scholarship applications are closed for the 2022-2023 academic year. Please visit this webpage in November for the available scholarship awards and application links for the 2023-2024 academic year.

The Honorable Frank Guarini, former CCF Board Member and Chair Emeritus of John Cabot University's Board of Trustees, made a generous donation to the Columbus Citizens Foundation from which John Cabot University students may be awarded scholarships.

The application is now open to US citizens or residents who are planning to attend John Cabot University for 1 semester or 2 consecutive semesters, are of at least 25% Italian heritage, and demonstrate a GPA of 3.5 or higher.

Eligibility:

Be a study abroad student planning to attend John Cabot University for 1 semester or 2 consecutive semesters
Be a United States Citizen/Resident of same status
Be at least 25% Italian descent
Maintain at least an 88% or 3.5 overall academic average

Process:

Students interested in receiving the Columbus Guarini Scholarship must submit an application online and the required supporting documents to the Columbus Citizens Foundation as instructed in the application. A committee reviews and evaluates the applications and will select semi-finalists for a mandatory interview.

Approximately one month after interviews, applicants will be notified by email of the committee’s decisions for scholarship finalists.
